Bench press on 12-19-17.
The peaking program called for 2 sets of 306 pounds for 2 reps. I ended up doing 2 sets of 306 pounds, but only did one rep on each set.
As shown in the video I was not able to bring the 2nd rep up. If you don’t have a spotter, it is necessary to have a power rack so you can work out until failure, which is when you will see real gains. I recommend the Body Solid Pro Power Rack. It costs $600. You can get it from Amazon, Wal-mart, or other stores. I like this rack because it is reasonably priced, it’s a quality made product, and weighs 3 times as much as lower cost power racks.
